Malnutrition is considered as an health problem in which the person take less or more calories of diet that was in need for that person. Also inadequate intake will most probably result in fatigue, tiredness, weight loss, physical or mental health problems.

2. Risk factors for malnutrition can be different in the context, it may be social in case of person having financial problems or it can be medical for person who is suffering from any illness and can be emotional in case of eating disoders such as anorexia nervosa.

It is important to screen the person for malnutrition because to understand the underlying cause for the same

The major signs and symptoms of malnutrition were weight loss, fatigue, reduced activity and health issues such as weekness, not able to concentrate on things etc. Apart from that the blood investigations also may reveal about the malnutrition as in case of decreased hemoglobin and other cells, disturbed LFT and RFT etc.

4. Cancer is an illness with multiple factors and most of them will be genetically transmitted and environmental facters also play a major role. Diet and other factors may not be that much important.
