Boy weight is 42 lbs

At first convert weight lbs to kg

Then 42 lbs= 19.05 kg

Boy height (tall) is 44 inches

Convert height in inches to meters 44 inches = 1.12 m

The boy was considered as sedative

PA = 1.00 if PAL is estimated to be ≥ 1.0 < 1.4 (sedentary)

So the PA = 1.00

EER = 1319

Then 19.05 kg (.95) = 18.09 g

So the boy needs 18.09 g of protein per day
