The physiologic response to anemia is a compensatory increase in cardiac output through increase in cardiac output through increases in blood volume ,preload ,heart rate and stroke volume along with a decrease in after load .therefore the increased sympathetic activity evidenced as palpitation and yacht cardiac is frequent in patient with anemia .

Anemia can lead to rapid irregular heart beat .
