Abortion is also called induced abortion, is the deliberate termination of a pregnancy by surgical or medical (with drugs) means. According to the ethics and rules and regulations of a country abortion is only permitted in the following conditions :-
-> pregnant women's life at risk
-> child health is so weak that it will lead to death after few weeks
-> child has some congenital malformations or abnormalities
-> parents socio-economic status is too weak that they cannot take care of a baby
-> pregnancy due to rape
-> contraception failed
-> unprotected sex while drunk/ diminished capacity
-> morally permissible to have abortion unless mother intentionally becomes pregnant
-> if having fetus would mean baby's life involved a lot of suffering eg mentally or physically disabled
