He or she will use both verbal and nonverbal communication in telephone conversations. How does this apply in the medical office? Discuss why medical assistants need to be an active listener in the medical field. Why does the medical assistant need to handle angry callers calmly and without raising his or her voice?

1.Nowadays Medical assistant is very important person as he is the first person either to earn the patient or to loose credibility of hospital.

2. Hence it is very necessary behavior of medical assistant.

3. Generally medical assistant should be calm and cool person because most often or daily he ek get terrible , loud calls and it is happened because everybody is worry about their patients.

4. He must be active listener because he has to listen all the problem of other side person and then he has to provide correct information regarding issue.

5. If he is not the active listen then he will become panic and loose the patient.

6. One active listener only win the person because by doing this he is giving respect to the patient and person also.
