The sexually transmitted disease and substance an use goes hand in hand.The epidemiological rationale describes the legal acceptance and permission of certain substances by the government, drugs by prescribers  are highly misused, easy availability of the drugs and substance among teenagers and adults have mislead them to unsafe sexual activity resulting in sexually transmitted diseases. The prevalence of STD with other comorbid diseases are very common like HCV, Hepatitis Bbamong the substance users.This makes the government to initiate screening program and drug treatment program.
