Disease prevention strategies for sexually transmitted disease:

1. Safe sexual practices: Health educate teenagers about safe sexual practices to protect themselves from STDs. Make awareness of risks of disease of unsafe sexual practices. Implement programs in middle schools to improve the sexual knowledge of teenagers.

2. availability of Latex condoms: Condoms help to protect against unwanted pregnancy and other sexually transmitted diseases. Teenagers must aware of using condoms effectively to protect them from STDs.

3. Routine Health checkups: Routine health check-ups of teenage girls especially screening of sexually transmitted disease help to minimize the number of new cases. Implement of screening program helps to identify the STD cases at early and to treat effectively.

4. Vaccination: Vaccination helps to protect against some of the diseases(e.g HPV) and also improves immunity against certain infectious diseases. STDs like herpes, syphilis, can spread through skin contact. So suppressive therapy is effective to protect against these diseases.

5. Counseling: Provide counseling to young adults about safe sex practices, the right method of contraceptive use, risk of multiple partners. Periodic counseling helps teenagers to clear all doubts and supports them in all aspects.
