Strategic plan for a health organisation acts as a guide to set realistic goals to be achieved by the organisation in future for enduring in the health care.

Mission statement is what the activities organisation is performing at present. This shapes the organisation in such a way to recognize the flaws and motivates itself to advance in its path.

Vision statement is what the organisation have to be in future. It promotes the organisation's values to improve and be innovative in business .

Mission and vision are interconnected. Mission statement leads to establish the vision statement.

Example: Vision statement is how to complete a marathon.

Mission statement is how we run at present and at what speed.
