Strategic planning is a specific plan that takes place at several levels of an organization. It is long-range planning for the organization which will be set for 4 to 10 years. It provides a specific direction and resolves organizational issues. It promotes a positive environment through critical thinking strategies. Strategic planning helps an organization to take the right decision. If the organization doesn't engage in strategic planning, internal conflicts, unfavorable situation arise within the organization. The organization will not grow in a positive direction. The resources cannot be determined within the budget. Overall, the organization efficiency will be decreased.

It has measurable goals that provide a specific direction to move forward. It has a clear vision to achieve the goals and to resolve the problems. Overall, It improves the operational efficiency of every staff.
