The term "public health" refers to the population's health as a whole, which is generally promoted by the local state health organizations.
Public health covers the populations within a jurisdiction, whereas the Global health targets each individual (can be individual specific in some cases) as it is global. However, both are aimed to improve the health of an individual and thus, the health of the society. Both of these view health as a physical, mental, and social health, but not simply as an absence of disease. Both emphasize the policies at the individual and population levels, so, both can be undistinguished.
