Answy: Compartment syndrome is a dangerous condition which occurs when there is excessive pressure which builds up in between the muscles space in the body. It generally develops after an injury or bleeding to the particular area. Due to this there is insufficient supply of the blood to the tissues near the muscles.

If this problem is left untreated then it may results into serious damage to the muscles. It usually occurs in the compartment of muscles of legs or the arms.
