Diet trend differs from the 2005 USDA food pyramid by adding dairy products. when we restrict the calorie too much it lowers the metabolism, may cause fatigue and nutrient deficiency, it weakens the bones, lower the immunity. The correct proportion from the food pyramid will guide for healthy food followup for our body requirement. I agree with my classmate's view on this diet. Nutritional knowledge benefits healthy eating with important nutrients, deficiency, weight management. Nutrition-related skills help for planning meals, nutrition information. Food pyramid and dietary guidance help to assess our own personal eating habits, goals for improvement. The food pyramid is a healthy choice for the correct amount of nutrients. we get the right amount of balanced food for our calorie range, it provides very little vitamins and minerals that our body needs.
