Describe the purpose of the logic model and how it is used in program development. Discuss the purpose of input, output, and outcomes in the model.
Please provide a reference.
Ans) Logic models are used by planners, funders, managers and evaluators of programs and interventions to plan, communicate, implement and evaluate them. They are being employed as well by health scientific community to organize and conduct literature reviews such as systematic reviews.
- Many authors and guides use the following template when speaking about logic model:
Input: what resources go into a program
e.g. money, staff, equipment
Activities: what activities the program undertakes
e.g. development of materials, training programs
Outputs: what is produced through those activities
e.g. number of booklets produced, workshops held, people trained
Outcome/Impacts: the changes or benefits that result from the program
e.g. increased skills/ knowledge/ confidence, leading in longer-term to promotion, new job, etc.
Many refinements and variations have been added to the basic template.
For example, many versions of logic models set out a series of outcomes/impacts, explaining in more detail the logic of how an intervention contributes to intended or observed results. Others often distinguish short-term, medium-term and long-term results, and between direct and indirect results.

Write down a hypothetical problem statement that includes the following components: -children -obesity -South Bronx -Increase 3. List at least three things to keep in mind when developing a program goal. a. 4. Why is it important to list available resources as part of our logic model? List the six types of resources commonly used in health promotion programs:...

Describe a health promotion model used to initiate behavioral changes. How does this model help in teaching behavioral changes? What are some of the barriers that affect a patient's ability to learn? How does a patient's readiness to learn, or readiness to change, affect learning outcomes?

Describe the characteristics of each software development model: V-model, waterfall and iterative models/frameworks and the key development stages or phases of each. Identify the key test levels with each model and the main goal(s) of each level. Incorporate details from section 2.2 into your analysis. Identify the pros and cons of each model. Identify how testing responsibilities and the role of the tester changes across the various development stages or phases. Provide an overview of how each model compares and...
