What is the role of a religious ethic in public policy today? Should a religious ethic or theistic worldview take priority over that of others? How can religious policy decision-makers remain true to their personal values while respecting the views of individuals with differing cultural and spiritual beliefs?

Religion plays a moral position in discussing social ills and resolution. It controls the public effort and dimension. Religious ethic has to control the moral values in public policies. The United States is a secular country where they consider morality as part of their life. The religious conviction has multiple forms within the tradition. The religious policy must support the social justice and social values that benefit the health of the public. Religious ethics has the right to persuade religious speak about public policy but it should not take priority. Policy decision-makers must give importance to the patient's moral thoughts and issues that impact the policy. When creating public policy, the policy decision-makers must consider different cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people and respect the values of the people. The policy must suitable for all persons irrespective of their customs and practices. The policy should not affect individual religious freedom. It focuses on political ideologies.
