Respiratory diseases and disorders are most commonly divided into two categories, restrictive and obstructive. Identify two restrictive disorders and two obstructive respirator disorders and discussion the difference. Are there any disorders that are considered both? Why or why not?
Ans) The Obstructive Lung Disease
The persons with the Obstructive lung disease will be normally having low number of breath because of the strain in exhaling full air from lungs.Due to the injury in the lungs or shrinkage of the air passing way interior to lungs, the exhaled air move out in a very slow manner than the normal. And at the conclusion of a whole exhalation, unusually large amount of air sometimes still stay inside the lungs.
Some of the examples include, Asthma, Bronchiectasis, Cystic Fibrosis, emphysema, Bronchitis and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease( COPD).
The Restrictive Lung Disease
The patients with the restrictive lung disease will not be able to completely fill their lungs. The lungs will be restricted from complete increase in the size. This kind of disease mainly comes from a situation making stiffness in the lungs .And in some of the other cases the rigidity of chest wall, frail muscle, injured nerves can make the limitations in the lung expansion.
Some of the examples include, Sarcoidosis, Obesity, Scoliosis, Muscular dystrophy, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
** The mixed lung disease is having the features of both Obstructive and Restrictive lung disease. The mixed lung disease mainly occurs in persons with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, in which who is having congestive heart problems like bronchiectasis , the asthma, or emphysema and here what happens is that the lungs cannot throw out air correctly at the time of exhalation.
Thanks!!!!!

Children and adults both suffer from upper and lower respiratory diseases and disorders. Pick 3 respiratory diseases or disorders and explain their etiology, signs and symptoms, diagnostic measures needed, and treatment options. You may also want to include likely recovery prognosis should a patient be diagnosed with the disease or illness you selected (Ex: most patients make a full recovery without any lingering side effects). Your paper must be at least 1 page in length, 12-pt Times New Roman font...
