2. option A is correct as the major contributor of iodine in US are commercial diary products, commercially prepared bread, iodized table salt and sea foods not the dries pe and beens  

3. Option D is correct as metallothionein are cysteine rich binding prooteins having high affinity for zinc and it is responsible for binding to zinc when there is a high zinc intake in the diet
