Answer #1

Singapore is practicing a Universal health care system. It aims that the individual has to take off their own health is the ultimate success for the country. The Government has spends only one-fourth of the total health care cost and the remaining are compensated by the individuals or the employers. The Ministry of Health offered affordable quality care services for all people. The health care system concentrates more on health promotion and prevention activities to lead a healthy life by the people. The public and private health centers contribute equally to offering quality services to the people. The limited population, low poverty, low rural areas all are adding advantages to the Singapore health care system. The taxation and benefit are contributed equally to all members which make a progression of taxes. Besides, the low rate of smoking, alcoholism, and drug abuse minimize the country expenditure on health care cost. Immigrant temporary workers will not get the same benefit as permanent residents which saves them money and results in the success of the health care system.

The U.S has increased stress on medical insurance and competitive private market. The health care system fails to give basic medical care at an affordable cost. The public and private sector not contributing equal health benefits. So the U.S has learned to strengthen the limit of the public and private sector and to make decisions on drug choices. Singapore also teaches the other country how to regulate the technology and the government initiative to influence healthier food habits among the people. Only healthy country can have minimum health care spending.
