  • A high school student with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) wishes to attend class.
  • A student has confided to a school worker that her father is sexually abusing her. She does not want her mother, who is a teacher at the school, to know and does not want the nurse or the counselor or principal to discuss this with anyone.

Ethical principles includes :

1. Autonomy,

2. Nonmalificence

3. Beneficence

4. Justice

5. Fedility

Here the more effective ethical principle is " Autonomy ".

Autos means Self,

Nomos means Rule,

And also it is individual right,

Freedom of choice and

Privacy.

In these case the patient is High school student with AIDS, wishes to attend class, she does not want to know any one regarding her problems.

* because she is having self respect and that too sexually abused by father .

* so one of the ethical principle is Autonomy, it means self respect and dignity and privacy.

* if we will follow the Autonomy, and also privacy of her personal information ,she can attend classes comfortablly and feels good.

And second one is Nonmaleficence, that means don't harm the client by telling personal information to all.

Next one is beneficence : by educating her and by providing support emotionally and psychologically she may get some of awareness and confident.

If we will follow all these ethical principles we will get good outcomes.
