I will identify and use 2 alternative methods of pain relief.

The documentation must include: diagnosis; treatment plan objective with interventions and expected outcomes/ goals.

My patient has severe back pain. He uses Morphine dose of 10 mg for chronic pain daily. Alos use PRN of Tylenol every 6 hours. The patient continues to have pain. 10/10 when taking PRN 7/10. The patient is also diagnosis with Schizophrenia. The patient is not active. how do the back pain and his mental illness affect each other? Thank you

Answer: Schizophrenia is a diseased condition where the patient is unable to think, remember or behave properly. The pain of the patient is 10/10 that means he is suffering from unbearable pain and hence this pain affects the thinking ability, causes mental stress and hence increases the chances of increase in the mental illness which he already have that is schizophrenia.
