Religion plays a vital role in health care. People from different religion having different concept and beliefs regarding disease and treatment.

Healthcare provider should be very careful of basic needs and beliefs of an individual while delivering care and he/she should deliver care according to individual needs to improve quality of care.

There are many factors like individual diet is different in a different religion, while providing care to a patient the diet plan of the individual should be according to his/her religious beliefs.

Healthcare provider should have an idea about all religion and their practices before giving them care, it helps in patient satisfaction and improves quality of care.

There are many religious barriers in health care like male care providers can not treat a female individual, it may be against there culture and religion.

Healthcare providers should respect all the religion while giving a care if it is not possible in some cases, because some religious beliefs may affect decision making in treatment, then care provider should make it clear to patient and give health education and make the patient understand the benefits of the violation.
