Answer #1

1.Being a person from ethics board they help in making a better decision when it comes to ethical issues. Here the utmost priority is to save the life of a boy because the culture, believes, practices, religion, etc., were born only after the birth of humans.A person in this position will try to provide a solution which shoukd outweigh the loss.

2.The factual content here is to save the life of an innocent boy who deserve to live when there is availability of medical treatment for the diagnosed disease. The chance of survival is 70% which is possible with the treatment and this should not be compromised by ones believes and practices by taking a wise decision.

3.The views and interests which are affected here are

  • It is against the will of the almighty God
  • It can affect ones spiritual belief and life because blood is considered to be sacred and the lives lies in it.
  • Using the blood to save another life is something causing harm to one's life in form of blood received from the donor. In simple a recipient using a donor blood refers to using the life of donor by the recipient to survive. This is an act of sin and impurity committed in ones life.

4.The ethical consideration which can be used as an evidence is

  • Doing this can save the life
  • The boy can survive and preach the benefits of available treatment in the community which he follows and encourage others in a wise way
  • Doing so is an act of respecting the parent's wish to save the life of their child.
