Pregnancy is the completeness of womanhood.In this advanced technology world attaining motherhood has been a greater task. If the pregnancy is planned or the woman being aware of the result of an intimate relationship ,is responsible to safeguard the fetus In all forms. If it is an unplanned or due to the result of abuse then the women takes the rights to make decision which will not harm her.The child protection act states that an unborn fetus cannot be subjected to any assault or abuse during and after delivery .The women if identified positive for drug test and if the fetus delivered dies within hours of birth is considered to be a criminal act .The women is charged for a criminal act . (A pregnant women when drinks can directly pass this toxic to the fetus via the umbilical cord and can cause severe abnormalities,foetal alcohol syndrome or death. This is possible in even when there is a minimal quantity of alcohol intake during pregnancy )

Similarly the women should have adequate prenatal health screening ,Check up as formulated by the government and every women are abided to take this and not following this can lead yo legal consequences

Physiological changes can lead to difficulty in eating in the initial days but it gradually settles down and a women starts eating well by second trimester, which can be easily identified by inverse in weight.If a women refuses to eat properly without any underlying medical conditions is again subjected to legal consequences for neglecting and harming the fetus.
