Linear model of communication is straight-line communication . In this model of communication generally a sender delivers/encodes a messase using a transmission mode/channel and this message is decoded by receiver. eg. TV and radio type communication.

Thus it includes Reciever, sender and message , but not time.

Hence second option time is correct answer.
