Answer: Cholesterol is a kind of lipid that is sterol which is an organic molecule. There are two types of cholesterol. The HDL that is high density lipoprotein which is considered to be good for our health and heart. The low density lipoprotein is considered to be bad for heart as they increases lipid concentration and blocks the arteries. Lack of exercise, improper diet etc causes increase the blood cholesterol level. This causes increase in the risk of diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease.
