Hdl level is below normal(40-60 mg/ dl)

Dietary and lifestyle changes to improve hdl level:

  • inclusion of olive oil
  • low carbohydrate diet should be taken
  • She should exercise regularly including strength training, high intensity exercise and aerobic exercise to lose weight. The exercise led to an increase in HDL cholesterol of 8 mg/dL after 10 weeks.
  • addition of coconut oil in diet as it reduces appetite, increase metabolic rate and help protect brain health.
  • Consuming purple-colored fruits and vegetables as they contain anthocyanin And they help fight inflammation, protect your cells from damaging free radicals and may also raise HDL cholesterol levels
