- choose healthy fat in the diet

- choose high level of dietary or solubles fibers containing food

- eat plenty of fruits and vegetables

- eat fish which contains high level of omega 3 fatty acids

Foods to be avoided:

- cholesterol containing food

- limit alcohol

- limit salt

- limit total fat and saturated fat

5. No, the normal range of hdlsuggested by the doctor is 30 mg/ DL. Patient is having less than the normal range.

The dietary or lifestyle changes that she can make to help improve this level are:

- regular exercise to be done

- loose weight or control weight

- quit smoking

- quit alcohol use

- add supplement to the diet

- eat heart healthy food
