Quantitative research is a type of research which is used in order to quantify the problem. It can be used by the way of generating numerical data or the data that can be transformed in the statistics which can be used. It can be used for the purpose of quantifying the attitudes, opinions, behaviours etc. In this the results are generalized from a larger population sample.  

Hence, when I am doing a research on the ' Attitude of teenage population on the teenage pregnancy education ' I would use the quantitative data by providing the attitude scale to as much teenage people as possible in order to obtain a great result.
