(a) No, you should not give the IV ceftriaxone and IV azithromycin through the same Y-site at the same. Administering two IV drugs simultaneously can cause precipitation thus reduces drug's compatibility. Moreover, it will be difficult to rectify the cause of drug reaction( if occurs ) both drugs will be infused at the same time.
