Human constantly work towards progress ,achievements and success.One such development is the initialization of the industry. The 17th and 18th  century was considered to be a period of industrial revolution where new innovations were made. Though the country rapidly developed economically to increase its gross GDP,it has indirectly and simultaneously let to the outbreak of many diseases among the public. The common diseases were tuberculosis, typhoid, cholera.The mortality rate among infants were very high.There were nearly 10% of death among this people. This was specifically found in certain class where the living environment, sanitation, accommodation were very limited or poor. Whereas the same disease condition was not found among the other community which had a good environment to live.

The public were unaware of the actual cause neither the government actively overlooked to solve this problems. The steps taken were rarely accessed by them.This was due to lack of scientific awareness. Once when the government in state observed this ,stared to work on the improvement of public health.Sanitary Reform Movement was the first step taken by the federal government because this the basic to prevent any diseases.The public started responding to its fullest when "The Public Health Act "was passed.Vaccination was invented for tuberculosis, typhoid. The mortality rate dropped down.The response from the public in regards to health changed in a optimistic way to control and prevent the disease.

Industrial revolution is a Opportunistic discovery for various different industrial sectors.but with this revolution many problems arise which lead to many health problems.

The etiological factors for the health problems are:

Overcrowded area,lack of facilities,homelessness,lack of hygiene,low wages of workers,poor sanitation etc.

The disease arises are:

Cholera,typhoid,tb,infections etc.

Public health act was published in 1875.actually public health is concerning about taking the preventive measures from those health problems.in health act the measures are taken for preventing illness.
