To me the communication skills or rather the interpersonal relationship of a leader is the most resonant quality. Different situations require different mode of handling them. And so the leader needs to have the ability to communicate variably and accordingly in various situations. He needs to have control over his skills as to decide when to talk how to talk and what to talk. Also in certain circumstances when working as a group differences of opinion is a common problem faced...during these times it becomes the responsibility of a leader to hold the strings and put the differences into use. For this a leader may require a good hold and stand among his members. To be able to represent his team during times of need requires knowledge about the different skills in which each person excels. This helps in division of labour and putting multiple steps into action at the same time. This can be achieved only when the leader knows each of his members on a leader's perspective as well as a member himself. Being an approachable leader is as important as being good leader.
