1.we should apply dry sterile dressing as it is an open clean wound.

2.otherwise it can leave open while ensure that the wound is not has any irritation with patients cloth.

3.tell the patient to lie on semi recumbent position inorderto bring the skin together to avoid gaping.

4.check that pus or any fluid is coming from the wound.

When we do above things the wound will be closed especially with tight closed dressing.while patient should be on comfortable position.
