contact dermatitis- inflammation of the dermis (skin) through contact.

causes: dermatitis due to contact with physical, biological or chemical agents including soap, detergents, scouring compounds and industrial chemicals. also, predisposing factors such as extreme heat or cold, more use of soap and detergent, previous skin disease.

signs and symptoms: skin rashes, itching, dry, cracked and scaly skin, vesicles and papules, burning sensation.

medical management: steroid ointments

oral medication- oral corticosteroid to reduce inflammation, antihistamine to tackle itching, antibiotics to treat infection

identify the allergen and avoid,

do not scratch

use moisturisers to soothe skin.

2. A congenital disorder in which a defect in between ventricular septum of the heart.

normally, oxygenated blood from left ventricle pumps to all over the body through aorta during heart contracts. in contrast, when the heart contracts due to pressure differences in between right and left ventricle, blood squeezes into the right ventricle and return to lungs for purification. thus heart has to pump hard to pump blood to sent enough quantity of blood to whole body.

signs and symptoms:

it can be detected in early life.

fatigue, heart murmur, shortness of breath, bluish skin, feeding difficulties etc
