Answer: The purpose of the home care is to provide care to the patient, promotes health and safety

The five special concern for HHA are:

  • Use of effective communication
  • Should have compassion
  • Flexibility.
  • Honesty
  • Patience
  • Physical stamina.

Six precautions in the home are:

  • Keep explosive products outside of the house.
  • Keep toxic substances such as cosmetic or detergents away from children.
  • Always keep electric wire covered.
  • Should switch off the lights etc.
  • Should wear proper dress which can not catch fire
  • Washroom should be dry.

Food handling is important because food can easily attacked by the bacteria, food becomes contaminated as well as cause food poisoning. This can cause serious harm to the people. Food should be stored in a refrigerator, should not be eaten raw foods without washing.
