Disability is measured in term of activity of daily living.These may include task such as eating , toileting ,bathing ,getting in or out of bed and dressing.

Long term insurance has not provided coverage for the great majority of American.Thus most people in these country are not able to care a life in long term care without insurance.

This problem might not attract the policymaker or public ,that's why,doesn't give help to the that people in long term care.

Long term care generally advocate to protect the health, safety,welfare and rights of elderly people or disability people which required a care for long time.
