The Final Paper must have as a focus the same topic as your topic selection assignment for the first couple of weeks of class and you are to include the references from your Reference List assignment which is empirical (research). Thus, term papers will require covering the topic in great depth. PAPERS MUST BE FREE OF PLAGIARISM (which is operationally defined as more than seven consecutive words from another source), on time (they are due the last day of class), typed, double-spaced, in APA style (see sixth edition of the APA Publication Manual), and reflect a thorough review of the literature, again using your reference list as a starting point. A PsychInfo (or similar electronic database)search or its equivalent by hand (using Psychological Abstracts) is required. Each paper should draw on 15-20 scholarly journals; to the degree possible these should be peer review and scholarly (i.e., research). Papers are to be 10-15 pages in length (not including title page, abstract, and reference page).

Epilepsy is a non communicable disease. It is a neurological disorder. Various cannabinoids have been used in treatment of epilepsy. One of the chemical found useful in treatment of epilepsy is Tetra-hydro-cannabinol (THC).

Beside this, one other compound named as Cannabidol (CBD) is also found useful in treatment of seizures. These also control the aspect of abuse liability. It is widely thought to be effective in case of children.

It improves the patterns of seizure control. Cannabis resin is also helpful in treatment of seizures because both THC and CBD are found in this resin. It is mostly used in treatment of Dravet syndrome.

Cannabidol seems to be suitable for those children who are not suitable for engulfing keto-genic food items. Cannabidol exists in form of pure liquid. Various cannabis food item dispensaries are also present. These dispensaries are suitable place for getting cannabis food items.
