- Assist the patient with measures to manage the adverse effects of
chemotherapy, such as nausea and vomiting.
- Evaluate for possible depression or suicidal ideation if the
patient is receiving interferon-alpha-2b; evaluate for hypotension
if the patient is receiving interleukin-2.
