Answer: Healthcare professionals plays major role in providing better care to the patients. Healthcare professionals can provide counselling to the culturally diverse patients. Privacy and confidentiality should be provided to these people.

To increase patient trust it is important to have effective communication with them. Patient should understand that the healthcare professional is attentively listening to the patients problem. It is important to show empathy as well as proper gestures towards patients. This will lead in increase trust of patient.

Some of the steps that can be taken to communicate with the patient the who are hearing impaired, older, uneducated etc as the healthcare professionals should try to communicate through gestures. Healthcare professionals should provide information to the patient's family members to make the patient understand the things. Every healthcare organizations should have a translator so that they can easily make patient to learn about the teachings.
