Immanuel Kant Categorical imperative means an objective rational principle which must be followed by a person under any adverse conditions or natural desires and inclinations. The immoral actions performed by a person are immoral and are considered against the human ethics and categorical imperatives philosophy in life. The moral duty objectives include not just the characterization of what is right or wrong but an understanding of the previous examples of situations of performing moral duties and ethics in life. There is rational agency with decisive power of obeying the moral duties during specific situations and not allowing the existence of immoral behavior in the society. There should be motivation to overcome the barriers and obstacles in life which can cause hindrance in the life of people following moral behavior and duties. There should be following of self-control, abstinence and tendency to strictly behave according to the moral standards in life. There is Universal law formulation of the categorical imperative which can be observed as adoption of the different forms of moral sayings and beliefs in life. The example of self-contradiction includes the decision of committing suicide during conditions of conception and unhappiness in life which can prove to be dangerous in different types of situations. In this case there is failure of the will test as the condition of committing suicide can be considered against the normal desire to live happily in the society. There should be feelings of rationality in life. It is irrational to perform an action if it against the law of nature. The habit of lying generates a sense of contradiction and confusion in life.

Immanuel Kant practical imperative declares that every human being has an end in its means for himself or herself. No human being can be used as means for the purpose of some other person in the society. Humans have rational thinking and independence and cannot be used solely for the life of other people with chances of misuse. People can take independent decisions in life according to their will or desire which can have harmful implications and can be dangerous. Every human person should be treated with humanity. It is important to give autonomous significance to different humans with essential importance to their life. Kant preferred deciding to analyze about human about means about consequences rather than just the ends.

Categorical imperative is better as it is a universal law about the decision of moral conduct behavior in the society whereas Practical imperative considers human ethics and humanity with ends rather than considering the means. Every human should think about their own ways of survival and existence without formulation of means and just thinking about ends. Categorical imperative means as analyzing the potential on the basis of end in themselves and not just as an means to end in different types of situations as followed in the practical imperatives. There should be purpose for every action in life and should not be considered in terms of selfishness in life.
