Differences between supply chain partnership and traditional buyer and supplier relationship :-

a) The supply chain partnership is very collaborative and dynamic in nature whereas the traditional relationship between supplier and buyer is closed and friendly.

b) The supply chain partnership is jointly planned and coordinated whereas the traditional buyer and supplier relationship is poorly managed and scheduled.

c) The price dealing between supply chain partnerships is formed as a win-win situation whereas the price deal in traditional relationship is negotiated between supplier and buyer and there is a win-lose situation.

d) There is a mutual agreement and joint planning formed between supply chain partnerships whereas there are lots of argument occurs between traditional method of buyer and supplier relationship when it comes to quality.
