What are the most significant relationships between supply chain management and marketing, specifically the "marketing concept" and the "4Ps"?
Marketing is a major factor supporting the supply chain management of any organization. It is very important to take the product or service to the consumers that too to the right place and right time. The product needs to be promoted in the right manner and with the right price. This is done by marketers where they take a product to the consumers, explain them about it and are responsible for the sales of the product or service. Without this no matter how good the product is , it would not have a nice platform to get sold which is the main aim of any company and it's supply chain .Hence marketing is a platform for the supply chain to take the product to the consumers and hence they are interlinked. Whatever the product is and however efficient the supply chain , 4P's are the most important factors for the success of any product or firm and marketing is the platform that can manage them .
