From the observation table it is clear that if RL varies from 300 to 1.3K there is no variation in voltage across RL with or with out diode , i.e,, diode is in open condition represents infinite resistance.

As RL increases beyond 7.8K results variation of voltage across RL with and with out zener diode hence it goes to break down.

But for open circuit and 7.8K the voltage Vo varies showing some internal resistance for Zener diode .
