Leaders assess the ethical climate of an organization my evaluating the communication process of the company. Moreover, the diversity standard of the organization is also analyzed to understand the moral environment of the company. The features which are observed as an ethical climate of a company are as follows:
• Intercultural communication: Leaders need to evaluate the cross-cultural communication of the organization to understand the moral environment. Secure intercultural communication depicts the high ethical standard of a company.
• Diversity: The diversified environment of an organization is evaluated to address the ethical perspectives. They assess the number of staffs and their wage structure to understand the ways the different teams are treated.
• Managerial: the leaders of the organization evaluate the administrative structure of the company. They analyze the ways managers treat employees.
Leaders play an active role in aligning the organizational conduct, policy and norms with all required slated values by maintaining proper communication, intercultural coordination, employee management, workplace rights and healthcare rights of employees. For example,- Walmart provides health insurance plans for all its employees to secure their healthcare rights in the organization. The values the individual rights of employees by recognizing all the basic demands of employees. Moreover, all the employees are allowed to open up their ideas to the leaders.
Thus, the ethical climate of an organization depends on the ways managers and leaders of a company treat the employees and other stakeholders.
