2. The complementary base pairing between two strands is due to weak hydrogen bonds which allows the molecules to unzip or separate easily during replication

4. The sequence of bases carries coded information required for making proteins

5. The double helix makes the DNA more stable and there are less chance to get damaged

6. The sugar phosphate back bone maintains its stability
