For selecting bacterial cells containing pOTC-delta plasmid one can use its ampicillin and hygromycin resistance gene.

for the same, one needs to grow the bacterial culture in a media containing both ampicillin and hygromycin. In such a case, only the transformed bacterial would be having resistance for these 2 antibiotics and would be able to survive and grow in the media.
