Answer #1

a. 1 unit of A requires 4 units of B,

Hence, 24 units of A will need, 24 x 4 units of B

1 unit of B requires 2 units of E, Hence, 24 x 4 units of B requires 24 x 4 x 2 units of E.

Again, 1 unit of A requires 4 units of D, Hence, 24 units of A require 24 x 4 units of D,

1 unit of D require 2 units of E, Hence, 24 x 4 units of D require 24 x 4 x 2 units of E.

Total units of E required for 24 units of A = 24 x 4 x 2 + 24 x 4 x 2 = 384 units of E

b. 1 unit of A require 4 units of C, Hence, 24 units of A require 24 x 4 units of C

Again,

1 unit of A require 4 units of D, Hence, 24 units of A require 24 x 4 units of D

1 unit of D require 4 units of C, Hence, 24 x 4 units of D require 24 x 4 x 4 units of C.

Total units of C required = 24 x 4 + 24 x 4 x 4 = 480 units of C are required.
