This app would mean that a firm selling would (A- still need to advertise or B - no longer advertise) because

(A) advertising helps create consumer preferences. Advertisement helps consumer to have information of the homogeneous products and make better decisions in order to maximize the utility. In other ways advertisement helps businesses to grow and increase their sell volume by making consumer aware of their products and thus increasing revenue.
