Answer #1

MAP means Mean Arterial Pressure.It is the average pressure in a patients artery during each cardiac cycle.To understand MAP, diastolic and systolic blood pressure values must be known. Here BP 160/85 means that the person have systolic blood pressure 160 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 85 mmHg.A person have BP greater than 120/80 is a indication of high blood pressure,i.e., diabetes ,...hypertension or it can also be an indicative of kidney disease.

MAP =Mean arterial pressure.

TRP=Transient receptor potential.

CO=Cardiac output

MAP is an average BP in an individual during a Cardiac Cycle.

TRP is represented by :mean arterial pressure.

R=∆P/Q

Where R=TRP

MAP=CO.SVR(systemic vascular resistance)+CVP(central venous pressure).
