the aforesid conditions about forming ions is precisely in aquous medium. hence the salt form by reaction of chlorous acid and ammonia will remain in ion-dissociated form. once the aqueous part is boiled off the ions will solidify according to its co-ordination number with counter-ions adjuscent to it.in salt there are ions in solid lattice form. in aqueous media it dissociates and becomes soluble by co-ordinating with water.
