Answer #1

The revolt of American Colonist began in 1775.

The reasons or the incidents lead to this revolt is listed below here;

BRITISH PARLIAMENT OR THE BRITISH CONGRESS ACQUAINTED NEW TAXES

Before 1764, the British government allowed the colonies to govern themselves without too much intervention and imposing too much taxes over the Colonies. But after that the condition altered and the government had introduced new taxes and imposed over the people. Many laws like Sugar act and Currency act became introduced. But the real problem existed that these Colonists has no representation in the British parliament. The people questioned such an existing status and they demanded the exemption from the tax without proper representation in the Parliament that is "No Taxation Without Representation".

REMONSTRANCE IN BOSTON

By the actions of the Parliament many people began to protest against such laws. In Boston, in the year 1765 a group came to existence known as Sons of Liberty to fight against such laws and it spread to many colonies. At a time fight broke out and many were shot dead in Boston, and this came to known as "Boston Massacre".

BOSTON TEA PARTY

The parliament imposed tax over the tea and this also came to a bone of disagreement over the Colonists. And as a mode to protest the protesters blow off the tea into the water in Boston harbor and later this came to known as Boston Tea party.

Many laws were introduced by the Parliament to castigate the protesters and to control the protest. These were called by the colonists as Intolerable Acts.

FEELING THE STRENGTH AND BECOME UNITED

The increased level of punishment and the introduction of laws by the parliament to took control over the Colonies has created a vice-versa effect, which means that it had resulted opposite to what they aim. The colonies became united by these actions and a strong bond formed between them. This finally resulted to the assembling of these colony known as "First Continental Congress", and 12 out of 13 colonies send their representatives to this assembly.
