3. Terms

accuracy : is closeness of experimental value to the true literature value

precision : is closeness of individual values to each other in an experiment

LOD : limit of detection, is the lowest quantity of solute that can be detected by the instrument

LOQ : limit of qantification, is the lowest amunt of solute that can be quantified in an experiment

RSD : relative standard deviation is the percentage of standard deviation to the actual mean

Official method : is a method certified to be used for analysis of a substance

4. The food sample must be homogenized in its content at all places such that sample taken from any end will result in the same analysis results. Heterogeneous samples give different results for samples taken from different parts.
